ey bro...why dont you play more with the header part of the site. you know, the blue part below the logo. i was just thinking that since that part basically gets to have the huge percentage of emphasis when the user opens up the site. might as well give it some boost.
i also noticed that there are a lot of content. we got news, events info and things like that, wc as we may know, one of the main reasons why visitors should visit the site often. to avoid lots of clicks in the next time they visit, why dont you place some headlines in the main page.
i think a good guide for you in making this kind site would be something like this :
im not saying you should follow it, but try to get some idea how things are distributed, wc part of the site should be given more emphasis etc. and by the way, i didnt design or develop the seattle university. i just pick it up just to refer some points.
