    ...but can be a bit crazy on the eyes after content floats on top....so maybe slow it down a bit or tint it only when content is overlayed?

    It actually goes slower when text is on top, on the news page click you can minimize the window and you will see that it goes faster..

    But I can see it being a bit overwhelming..
