I seriously think that pets are here in the world to make us happy and to comfort us. Seriously, sometimes the personality of a dog or cat is enough to make you realize all your problems are not so big, and you've got this beautiful, kind little friend there to love you back, no questions asked.
Sorry about those of you who have sick pets or recently lost one. I've been there too, it's never easy.
