about as big as a half dollar right now this alligator snapping turtle is merely a hatchling, though this breed is the largest freshwater turtle in the world
the second photo down is his current house (no frills)
by the end of the week i will have completed filling the cage in the bottom photo with dirt rock, water, floating island, and personal retreat area, not to mention more meal worms and maybe a couple legless crickets as thier diet is mainly carnivorous
in about 50 years or so maybe i'll be lucky enough to own a badass like these;
