seriously, they should have had a shot of a forest changing seasons or something, some kind of measurement to show a def. change of a chunk of time -
but i had read once that Ceasars policy of "clemencia" extended mainly to enemies that were of his own people - home grown enemies, when defeated, were never to be treated with shame or humiliation, thats why he got so emotional over Pompeii (and shit, they used to be friends too!) - when it came to foreign enemies, well, u see what happened to Ptolemy - face down in a fuckin ditch!
