    Indeed they do, but if you think you're getting a dedicated 8mb line into your PC you are wrong. The 8mb "line" is probably shared with your neighbours. Usually about 30 of them. In theory - you could have UPTO an 8mb line, but the reality of the situation is that you will not.

    My other point is - no matter how fast your incoming connection is, it counts for fuck all when my webpage, on my webserver, is outputting at 2mb MAX. So you have a fast car - but can't drive it. Or...
    NT will always be slow. 8mb or not.
