The way i learned is find a good site with some healthy well formed css and download the site and the code then start screwing with the the CSS and see what you move, break, fix etc... thats just the way i did it, may not be right but it helps.

(Oct 17 05, 05:45)That's the way I did it too...was too impatient to deal with all the code from scratch. I recommend that way if you're really familiar with HTML code. It takes a while to get used to CSS, so be patient. And there are lots of helpful sites (which you can find by searching Google). Once you're comfortable with it, it's awesome to use on a website.
