Yeah for sure. My current setup now is a Powerbook G4 1.5 ghz, and a 4+ year old custom built amd system, 512 ddr, and 2200+ cpu, not even 64 bit. It still runs really great, stable as hell, like I cannot remember the last time it has done some weird shit on me like freeze or crash or anything, and it still runs quite fast, all things considered for doing the usual print and web work.
However I will probably upgrade to another pc instead of mac, especially after getting so much longevity out of the system, I am just not impressed with the mac OS, the performance of their systems or the company at all (I would say the same for g5's too in my experience using them).
