I recently got a 20 imac for home and some freelance work. I love it for everything except fast web based development including coding. Its great for design and layout but I would say i prefer the more institiutional feel of a pc for coding and fast development.
So it really depends on what you are doing with it. but it sounds like from your post it would be perfect for what you are doing.
The price is now less and it comes with that cam.
