yeah, the comment that PC's aren't engineered for RAM intensive applications is pretty lame.
In my experience my PC has always run faster than any mac I've ever tried to use the same programs on. Ever, for the past 10 years.
I know you can get a fast mac, but why spend 6K when you can spend 2?
I've also never run into any problems in submitting PC-based files to a printer, but I don't do much print work so . . .
In conclusion, my advice is to get a Tandy 1000.
