the new version of that site is poorly done in my opinion. while i do feel there are some nice creative elements to it, it does not feel to have a beneficial user expereince- especially for the intended audience and what they are trying to accomplish. aside from this, i feel it is a steep departure away from the standard the previous version established. the balanced sense of typography and intuitive navigation code is gone here. instead, the user experience is very disjointed and technology is relied upon to deliver what in the end is nothing more than light brochure beta.
i hope you take this as pure critique mogo and not as an attack. i think the use of full-screen imagery is a great attribute. this element establishes a rich stage to convey tone while providing a backdrop for content. i just think beyond this, things fall apart and the AD and user model was forgotten.
