    I have to do a presentation at university about any poster designer i want.

    Now
    Who is the best, coolest?
    preferably a current one.

    If you are doing a presentation why not choose a master of his art: Josef Muller Brockmann, Wim Crouwel, Armin Hofmann...etc and talk about how their/his has influenced the future generations of designers: Gert Dumbar, 8vo, Madethought, SEA (again only examples)

    The point I'm trying to make is that today's designers have learnt from history, and to follow a line of influence is far more interesting for both you and your audience.
