Nope, neither he nor Lois were in episode 2.
I don't see any previews on the Space Channel, but I looked online and it says the following:
03. HIDDEN: A krypto-mutant, Gabriel, hacks into missile codes and prepares to eliminate krypto-mutants in Smallville once and for all. A powerless Clark confronts him and is shot, and only Jor-El can save him.
04. AQUA: Lex hires a 19-year old swim coach from the Stanford swim team - Arthur Curry - who is an incredibly fast swimmer, and he takes an interest in Lois. Meanwhile, Clark deals with his newest teacher, Professor Milton Fine.
Brainiac is in both episodes.
There's supposed to be a vampire named Buffy in episode 5 and is a recurring character, haha. No joke.
