A History of Violence - never has violence looked so violent.
The Day the Earth stood Still - "We have come to visit you in peace and with good will"
Schizopolis (Soderbergh) - the best part is the scene shown twice, once with regular english, once with the subtext meaning of the conversation.
Nosferatu (1921) - with the right soundtrack it's still an amazing movie, a real horror epic.
In the Mood for Love - a wonderful story by Wong Kar Wai about a lost love
Naked Lunch - I love how Bill Lee accepts the most absurd drug induced hallucinations/situtations with just a slight sneer
Sin City - never has violence looked so beautiful.
C'est arrivé prés de chez vous (Man bites dog) - may be a bit dated. 1990s media/"snuff" film in the style of a documentary.
Le Locataire - Polanski. I love it for the scream at the end if nothing else.
Them - radioactive ants pillage and kill humans
enjoy...
