it's about time we got back to talking about bikes.

i'm obsessed with them, and have been all summer.

i just sold my first bike which i've had for over 4 years, a honda nighthawk 750 (good size, start there), and bought a BMW R1100--similar to that one in the post above, but a standard, not a cruiser.

black with white pinstripes, huge engine. i love it.

seriously, don't be fazed by 'don't crash it' or anything like that. just buy a bike and start driving around local areas and spread out the more you do it. you will be fine if your riding expectations grow with your ability... which takes a bit of time.

i think i can honestly say that driving my bike has gotten me through this summer, which otherwise, was pretty hard for me.

where do you live? if yr around NYC, i know a lot of things going on with biking around here, and of course, i'd totally hit the road with you.

what bikes are you looking at? email me if you want me to check anything out for possible issues or whatever. i really enjoy it and will always like an excuse to look at more bikes :)
