  didn't harsh patel come out a few years ago with some pissy rant trashing mschmidt, token Jeffery Zeldman, and a ton of other 'name' designers?

  i seem to remember a lot of hard feeling surrounding that..

  i traded a few emails with zeldman and mschmidt at the time asking them what was up..

  from what i recall, they were pretty upset...
  and i remember thinking it was a pretty nasty way to make a name for yourself in the design scene..

  say what you will about self promotion and whatever, but calling some of the more talented designers 'overrated back-scratching elitist
  link whores' isn't going to win many friends..

  anyhow...
  yeah..
