my wife is a highschool teacher, and i'd say about 1/3rd to a half of the school is muslim...
couple of years ago, (she teaches french by the way) she was doing some fun activities for the kids, and making crepes for them...
a few minutes in, they're all eating, except for a few kids..
my wife looks up, concerened, and says, 'is everything alright?'oh yes...everything is fine...except we're fasting right now....
oh SHIT!!
she felt about 2 inches tall...usually she's up on all these sorts of things and knows ahead of time...but that year it totally slipped her mind..
here she's got a class full of kids mowing down on crepes and stuff, and the poor muslim kids had to sit there and watch..anyhow, mistakes happen, but you can be sure she never made that one again..
