it can be, but its not that bad and that's why i'm attracted to it... you have to go a mile a minute or you lose.
at bigger paper's they're more ruthless about cutting from the bottom, so if the story doesn't fit, it gets chopped. the big problems i've ran into is a photographer blowing off an assignment or copy coming in really close to deadline, but you just roll with it.
