ha i got some answers for you there.
i DID notice the redford thing (i don't watch that many games, catch em mostly on EEI) and have been wondering about that myself. whatever it was, i'm glad the two redfords got to meet each other.
-) i don't think giambi was sweating THAT much, his hair was soaking. he must've slapped some water under his helmet. I heard that ozzie osbourne uses that technique when he goes on tour because he is basically incontinent after all the drugs he's done. When he feels himself go piddle in his pants, he dumps a bucket of water over his head so nobody'll notice. I suspect something similar is going on with giambi.
-) that ball didn't actually hit the camera guy, although it was close. he merely lost his balance from whipping the camera around so fast he almost fell off the roof. my girlfriend's father (who installs elevators) told me that it's OSHA regulations that anyone facing anything over a six foot drop needs to have a safety line attached to them, so unfortunately, would he have gone over the roof, he wouldn't have taken anyone with him, just dangled a bit like a human pinata
-) as for the commentating, man, try talking about something, anything, for three hours. of course you're gonna say some stupid shit. don't blame remy, the man is full of baseball lore on a good day. still beats joe and jerry going on about ice cream and rental cars.
-) i actually think joe torre is really manuel noriega in his witness protection program assignment. how fitting would that be for the evil empire?

yeah this was a massive win, wang totally fell apart...wells had me sweating in the first, but he pulled it together in a big way.
still think the sox need to get way more hits than they have been...and the yanks are gonna play like tigers tomorrow.
