"Intelligent design is a movement that says that life is so complex that it must have been designed by a higher intelligent being"
so what, what does that prove? nothing.
It's like saying "well, we have this fossil and we have that fossile but nothing in between? Hmmm. Some intelligent being probably created this. Ok case closed."
Solves nothing, teaches nothing. Do you really need to call something 'Intelligent Design' to understand that the world we live in is extremely complex?
What are the benefits of 'Intelligent Design' aside from a claim of a higher being?
