from experience- companies want the urls in advance - and they basically narrow down your skills based on that - after that they are hiring for personality and how well you would fit in to the organization.
But always be prepared - print off a few screens from each project so that you can walk them through and discuss what you have done on it.
as for a cd.. from experience, and what i have heard from others, people just dont have the time to sit and watch. Plues, they have already seen them, thats whay they brought you in for an interview. they want you in and out so they can get onto the next person and back to business. Printed shots are the best. Have one on hand for sure though, you never know.
