I will have photos of my new place soon I hope.
I have a cat, and just moved into a studio. First time living by myself and it is THE BEST.
But having a cat is a hidden reward. She gets into things sometimes, so keeping my apartment clean and tidy keeps her from messing with stuff.
My place might look like a demo room from ikea, but everything is right where I need it.
Another good tip:
Always, always, always leave your house as if guests could come by unannounced at any time. Keep your bed made, clothes put away, everything in order.
Apologizing to people because you're place is messy is embarassing.
