I really have an issue with this...

I'm on 1024, 'cause I work from a laptop. I'm aware that most idiots out there use 800. And I just finished a site that I designed for 800X600 resolution.

However, I decided that's the last time I'll do it. People are never going to get bigger monitors or set them to greater resolutions unless they get sick and tired of scrolling and not seeing everything on the browser. It's a little bit of tough love. They'll hate it, but they'll come around and thank you later.
Why do we have to design for the lowest common denominator when we're cheating people who have invested in better equipment to enjoy the experience better?
And the shit about the small text, is just crap. You can increase or decrease the size of the text with your browser (at least with IE).

    Unless it's flash of course.
