    i think the precevied stigma about helmets is interesting.

    I own a helmet, but don't always wear it. The decision is made depending on length and intensity of the ride.

    i have gotten the feeling talking to some people that they feel like helmets aren't cool. (and i guess they are not) but i have never, nor even heard of anyone make fun of wearing helmets.
