Work experience is work experience.
It's not such a bad thing to have on there (bus boy or whatever), if it is a transferable skill.
I remember interviews that I had out of school, and on my resume I didnt have anywork experience because I was applying to deisgn jobs. And the interviewer would ask, "so what did you do while at school before etc." they know you're out of school so put down the jobs that you did. Again it could be a transfarable skill, ie. if your worked some kind of sales job it may show you know how to deal with people etc. etc. don't worry about the title work is work.
Now if you you are putting down the paper route that you did when you were in grade 9 then obviously you can scratch that.
Think about the job and the skill that may be relevant for what you are applying to.
