my friend got into a similar situation - she was riding a bike down, this car pulls out from driveway and hits her.
THEN cops comes and tell her that the bike headlight wasn't *bright enough*.
like HUH? it has some standard on it has to be bright bright? (and it wasn't that dark). and come on, even if it was seriously bright, the car would have hit her anyway.
so the friend is stuck with serious medical $$
