There was that time I was riding between two city buses that were slowly getting closer & closer together until they were pressing on my handlebars from either side, pulling me down the street. I took my hands off the bars to steady myself on the buses. One of them moved slightly faster, twisted my bars, and the bike fell out from underneath me. I landed smack-dab in the middle of the two buses. Not a scratch on me (but a mangled digital camera in my pocket). The front end of the bike was mangled.
