I totally hear you. I'm at least 30 Gs down from schooling.

I thought about doing something completely different for awhile too. Like working on a crabbing boat or something, and then just designing on the side on a laptop, sitting on the deck.

My dad told me that what we're going through is what 99% of people- adults go through. We're lucky that we get to vent about it here, and to our friends, because if we didn't, we would've snapped already. Imagine other industries, the postal service...etc. -Going Postal. Most people out there are completely institutionalised, wary of being laid off from a job they've been at for 30 years, or being let out of prison and having freedom without strict lights out structure. They'd go section 8 for sure. Money isn't driving them, it's some boring, complacent, copacetic existence. Where the middle ground is, we're probably going to find it. And it'll be sweet. (probably after paying off all the bills.)

Life totally isn't just about money, I know. Now more than ever after debts and possesions. I'm zen-ing out now myself. You'll be alright, look at me, employee number No#1010101-- I'm fine.
