  A few must have games:
  Silent Hill 2&3
  Onimusha 1-3
  ICO
  MGS 2-3
  Devil May Cry 1&3
  Final Fantasy X
  Siren
  SSX 3
  Fatal Frame 2
  Star Ocean 3

  and a couple of others highly acclaimed, though I don't really care for them:

  GoW
  GTA (the whole series)
  Gran Turismo
  Burnout

  And scarabin, ICO wasn't a launch title, though it came out in the first 6-12 months or so.
