Of course the initial amazement wears off after some time... hell, we're creative minds, we get bored quickly and easily with almost everything... and that's why we always have our arms open (albeit sometimes begrudgingly) for some sort of change, whether it be minimal or wholly impactful.
You love her? You try.
Doesn't matter if you don't "fancy" her right at this particular moment or on through the daily monotony. If you love her... you'll put forth the effort to work at it just like you work on your design, on yourself. You'll know that you want to stay with her if you are willing to be truly unselfish.
Obviously, things are more complicated than that... and no one can really make the decision for you. Hope this helps.
