  I want to access the applications on the dock without the help of the mouse. I could easily do this. Command+tab, Select Finder, use arrow keys to select the main drive, Command+O, select the Applications folder with arrow keys, Command+O, Select Application with arrow keys, Command+O...

  I guess its not something Apple did. It should be an app itself. To open the un-oppened applications from the dock using a shortcut key.
