i didn't know monitors had extra parts inside that could just explode without affecting performance

(Sep 16 05, 16:18)this is true, they do build in small explosives that do not hurt the mechanics and electronics of it.. they do this because they want you to return or dump your monitor and then the manufacturer picks it up and resells it..
