------------------------------well, i make of that quote is, for example, say gangsterism in pop culture--how a thug persona is no longer about rebelling from conventional wisdom or rigid conformity but about perpetuating a style of dress and talk to fit it, be cool, and get laid.
if you think about it, that does interfere with our cultural evolution. also the violence that surrounds such a subculture does affect human kind.
then again, perhaps i should let prodigalsacker make his own case without me misinterpreting it.
either way, i enjoy the discussion.
