    drink the alcohol when the flight attendy comes by. Slip them a 20 and get a few extra mini-bottles if you should need them.

    Take a portable video game player like a Nintendo Gameboy Advanced.

    Do some crossword puzzles or read a book.

    take a rubberband and wear it on your wrist. When you get nervous, snap the rubberband really hard. It will take your mind off of your anxiety and onto the pain. (Works all the time for me in presentations!)
