last day at work

my most recent last day was last month, a different co-worker had given in their 3 weeks and the vp kept this info to themselves. an overseas development trip was scheduled to travel to china for a month and a half, and this trip was planned months earlier, and the best part was that i wouldnt be going, so as it turned out the other co-worker who had already quit, well i was put in his place in going to china, but the thing waas they never told me i was to go, so i had no time to prepare for the trip...this was a thursday, and the tripe was planned to leave on the monday...the friday was a holiday and it didnt seem they were giving me notice to me leaving on the trip.
well i found out the nasty way by my merchandizer in china calls me on my cell saying how happy she will be to see me...of course i was like WTF??? im not comming on this trip...and she said and emailed me my flight itinerary which she has had for over 2 weeks.
i completely lost it after that, i felt so hurt that the company that i had put the last 4 years of my life into would treat me this way, that i stormed into the vice presidents office fumming...i got all in his face with extreme predjudice!!!! and demanded what his excuse for this was, and he had none, but he couldnt take the fact i was right in his face and that he couldnt look me in the eye, he said "well if you dont like then you can leave right now!"
i fucking smiled the big one! threw him my swipe card and left!!!
it was the greatest day of my life!!!!
i not only got work within a week, i quadrupled my salary!!!
the best thing that ever happened to me!!
your friends you made will always be there if they trully were your friends...if not fuck em and move on and make newfreinds!
