Sigma makes a decent 20mm 1.8.
It runs about $600 CDN, so less in American dollars.the EL 20-35 is a decent wide zoom, and it's about $700 USD, if I'm not mistaken.
As far as lenses, Jevad, I've always figured a good standard is a 50mm, a wide-angle (20mm or 24mm), and a telephoto (100-300mm zoom should do the trick).
Or you can always supplement any of the above with a good zooms.
