This is exactly what I mean when say the European reaction to the onset of Bush's "War On Terror" has been very equivocal, even ambivalent. How to react to an event like 9/11? Is no action required because it will cause more radicalisation? A perfect excuse for inaction. If that is, at bottom, what you want.
===================thats a ridiculous thing to say when Europe was united behind the US in disposing the Taleban in Afghanistan. You don't seem to understand European anxiety towards unfettered american militarism.
