yeah, smoking is bad for you no matter what age
but imagine if the old dude was some sort of war veteran who, in order to maintain a sense of calm, has to have a pack a day.
or someone with cancer just wanting to enjoy the last year of their life.
if i walked over to your house and stole your pot, am i doing you a favor? i know it's not quite the same thing --- but yes it is.
that being said, i can't judge you. i'm not a smoker, but were i one i might have had the same impulse.
