check out Zabka's comments on Val Kilmer (the man who supposedly stole his career)...
"Heat (1995) – Chris Sherhlis
Kilmer played a thief in Robert DeNiro’s bank robbing gang. He was also married to Ashley Judd in this movie. Kilmer played himself again but at least he got shot and almost died. Zabka would have been much more believable as the husband to hotty Ashley Judd and he would have provided enough intelligence to convince you he was a successful bank robber. Plus, Zabka would have probably not acted like a prima donna on the set convincing the director to have him shot in the movie at the last minute. Not too many people know this but he was such an ass on the set that they rewrote the script to have his character shot so he would shut the hell up."
