He took it in stride, probably because he's probably been hearing it his whole life.
When he was achild and was too tubby to play on the football team, and was like locker boy, "Fuck you Cheney. (insert boisterous athletic laughter)"
When some of his drinking buddies in college got drafted and he said he had other priorities, "Fuck you Cheney"
probably why he hangs out in so many undisclosed locations..if he hears it too much the ticker will go, go, go!
