Set rasterise to 300 dpi - try a new doc or avoid doing any effects in FREEHAND IN PARTICULAR GRADIENTS ( THEY BAND WHEN PRINTED) transparency or blurs as the oten pixellate. Don't bother contacting FH either - inept is their middle name.
