The Mayor of NO just flipped on the Governor of Lousiana. She apparently dithered for 24 hours before allowing the federal government in to take over the rapidly deteriorating situation there. And why weren't all those parked school buses not used to evacuate the people left stranded in the city? In addition, why the great disparity of misery and lawlessness in Mississippi and Louisiana when in fact Mississippi bore the brunt of the hurricane?
