pfft, i do care what people say about my country, everyone should. but in a way that encourages you to look to your own nation from a distance.. and i do that whenever i can.
But i never feel like i am stepped on my toe or someone is calling like my family names or something.
a country is a country, an abstract territory with political borders, how can comments on this really offend anyone? seems unhealthy to me.
and for the very last time, i have never verbally vomited on all the people within a nation itself, only on the nation as a whole, and if you feel you are part of the problem get working on it.
I for once know, that most people here did not vote for the current US govt., nor did i ever vote for the current bush-copy-meatball we have in charge here in NL right now.
debate, discussion and confrontation are key when there is a crisis, if you don't like it you can stick your head in the sand, but let me warn you, it is people that stuck their head a little too deep in the sand that helped the current wave of rightwing christian hypocrits to power.
i for one have nothing against anyone in this thread, it's all peace.
but i will not just avoid a discussion like this any longer.
i did before but that was honestly a rather ignorant deed on my side.
ps. Arinya, it's all good.
