You don't seriously take the hump at a term like "septic tank" do you?? It's just like cockney slang, Dick Van Dyke ken?
Like "deep sea diver" for a £5 note.
Or "apples and pears" for stairs.
How can anyone not like a bit of cockney rhyming slang? Some of it's even a bit clever. Seems a very small thing to get huffy about, especially when 90% of Septic Tanks were likely out "smoking fools" on their lunch break...
