    Actually it has been pointed out by several -independent- scientists across the world that indeed it is not the only cause, but it is absolutely part of the problem, that thing is certain.
    hurricanes this strong only occur when the ocean is of extremely high temperature, and indeed, the Gulf of Mexico is in some areas about 30 degrees celsius, well that is extremely hot for seawater.

    this is caused by a complex alteration in streams of seawater across the world which is influenced by global warming..and so on.
