OK - I am prepared to be lampooned for this...
but....
i don't get why a DEVELOPED country is asking for aid for this Hurricane disaster - especially after bush gives £5 billion to aid relief in the region (so he says) - and then there are all these concerts and pleas by various charities to give more.
Has everyone conveniently forgotten all the poor developing countries that are still in the midst of famines and droughts and desperatly need aid in any form?
