Go to the Brass Monkey - a wee old mans pub with a hidden cinema room with cushioned floor - a real gem!
Avoid - Opal Lounge and the Living room as they are usually full of wankers.
Dives are The Subway, Poo nanas and revolution although these are the hang outs for tarts so might be right up your back alley!
Yo Below is good - on rose street - with waitresses doing karaoke and a beer tap on each table.
