great thread.
when i saw the incredible bias in the media, i was totally floored.
it's one thing to know it exists, hell...most of us work in the media here, to some extent or other...
but to see it that gross, that blatant, that 'obvious'...
wow..it sort of makes things brutally clear doesnt' it....black= looter
white= innocent 'lucky to be alive' survivor that just happens to have found some stuff floating around...honest..._____________________
and as for ponyboy..
wow...i don't care whether you call yourself conservative, liberal, or the queen of fucking sheeba
even YOU must be able to look at something like that, and think..hell...thats pretty fucking biased...its not 'spin' and it's not 'liberal blah blah blah'...its just common sense..if you see something like that, and its that obvious, you MUST be able to look objectively at it and come to an educated appraisal of it..
anyhow, it was crazy ass biased, anyone can see that..
if it weren't so horrible, they could use it as a joke on SNL
for what it's worth, i hope things down there turn out allright...
but i shouldn't worry...
americans look after their own.
if they can raise billions for the tsunami relief and help folks half way around the world, you watch how fast they can help save one of the most beautiful and historic cities in the US...my wife was in New Orleans last year, and said it was one of the most beautiful places she's ever seen...we were supposed to go visit there together this year.
