is it something to fear?..most certainly...anything done by these folks is cause for some sort of worry..
however..
i get the feeling this is more or less 'make work' for these cats..
yer right...the billions of dollars that porn companies represent
is not to be trifiled with...
when push comes to shove, you can expect that billions of dollars can shove INCREDIBLY hard..heh heh heh..he said 'hard'
;)
seriously tho..can't imagine what shape new laws would come in...this reminds me of the 'porn rock' shambles during teh 80's...remember when the parental warning stickers came in?
a group called the PMRC parents music resource center or something, headed by none other than Tipper Gore was crusading against violent or dirty lyrics...
they had hearings in washington, lots of rock n rollers of the day were called on the carpet...it was a total kangaroo court...
but the sole purpose was to create a big media circus, which it did..
and while allllll the cameras were watching that..no cameras were on 'other' more important things going on in government..keep your eyes open...
if they make a huge case of this, it's because they want you watching THAT instead of other things...
like, namely iraq, iran, etc...
