what is it you want? if money is your objective, you can do better in investment banking, $200-300k a year and then from on, the investment you make your own can go sky high with that capital.
as far as web industry goes, you probably top out around 150-200k if you are good. if you are wise about your money and how you invest it, then it's possible to drive a nice car and a beach house.
it's all about how you sell yourself. you think 80k is alot, then once you get to the point, 80k is nothing. you make 100k, 150k, and want more and more...human nature.
